Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.58/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its value, performance, and features, and many also highlight the good ride quality and decent fuel economy. It fits well if you want a midsize pickup that balances everyday usability with capability, especially if you are looking at the Z71 or ZR2 versions. Is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.58/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a truck that many owners feel good about living with over time, especially because it is seen as value-focused, capable, and well equipped. The same feedback also suggests you should pay attention to ride quality, cabin noise, and rear-seat comfort when evaluating a used example. For long-term ownership, that means the biggest risk is less about overall satisfaction and more about finding one that has been maintained well and suits your comfort expectations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 148 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,475 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $31,559 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,311 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Colorado has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at today’s average, there is less cushion for immediate resale gains, so condition and trim choice matter more. Stronger-equipped versions should remain easier to move than bare-bones examples because shoppers continue to respond to the Colorado’s capability and feature set.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the better pick if you want a more modern Colorado with strong owner approval, a softer used-market price, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but the 2021 gives you a compelling mix of value, features, and buyer demand.
