Used 2021 Buick Enclave for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2021 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 12.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 45 listings available, which gives you a useful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Buick Enclave earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out as Buick’s biggest crossover SUV, with a roomy, quiet, powerful, and athletic character that suits you if you want a comfortable three-row SUV with a more premium feel. It is especially appealing in its top trim level, where the upscale presentation is strongest, but its technology and value for the money are weaker points.

The market shows 42.2% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Enclave is described as quiet, powerful, and athletic, and its V6 and nine-speed automatic give it a straightforward mechanical setup. The ride quality is a major strength, and the transmission is described as working smoothly. Buick also positions the SUV as a refined, premium-feeling family hauler, which supports confidence in day-to-day use.

Its dependability picture is helped by the fact that the powertrain is simple and consistent across the lineup, but used buyers should still watch for the usual ownership risks that come with a large, premium-leaning SUV, especially if maintenance history is incomplete.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Buick Enclave?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence base trim is the starting point, while Premium and Avenir add more presence and luxury. The base trim misses some of the richer styling and equipment that make the higher trims feel more upscale.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 3.6-litre V6 with a nine-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard on Essence in Canada, while all-wheel drive is standard on higher-priced models. The V6 makes 310 horsepower and strong low-end torque, and the SUV is described as quick and easy to drive.
• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard. The Driver Confidence Plus Package adds forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear park assist sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat. That package is standard on Premium and Avenir, but not on the base trim.
• Infotainment: Every Enclave comes with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, connected services with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, and USB charging ports in all three rows. The Avenir’s 8-inch touchscreen is the largest available, and upgrades can add navigation, wireless charging, a premium sound system, and a surround-view camera system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Enclave at 11.2 L/100 km in combined driving, or 11.8 L/100 km with AWD. In testing, it averaged 11.1 L/100 km with FWD.

Which 2021 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2021 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, and Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Enclave’s core space, comfort, and standard connectivity without the extra luxury touches. It makes sense if you want the Enclave’s roomy, premium-feeling cabin at the lowest starting point.
• Premium: This is the best-value trim because it adds the Driver Confidence Plus Package as standard, bringing in more advanced safety equipment without pushing you all the way to the top trim.
• Avenir: This is the most upscale choice, with the strongest visual presence, standard AWD in Canada, and the most premium presentation inside and out. It suits you if you want the Enclave at its most luxurious.

The Driver Confidence Plus Package is standard on Premium and Avenir, while Avenir buyers can add the optional Avenir Technology Package for highway-speed automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Buick Enclave?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with meaningful inventory and a noticeable price drop from last year.

• Deal availability: 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 45 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.82% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,669 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $31,983 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,688 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but puts pressure on current owners who may be planning to sell. If you own one, the Enclave’s premium positioning and roomy three-row layout can still support demand, especially among shoppers who value comfort and space over cutting-edge tech.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2021 Buick Enclave earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, though frontal-impact protection rates four stars due to a four-star front passenger rating. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gives it high marks overall, but a Marginal headlight performance rating keeps it from earning a Top Safety Pick accolade.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard, and the Driver Confidence Plus Package adds forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear park assist sensors, and a Safety Alert Seat. That package is standard on Premium and Avenir, while the base trim misses out on it.

The main caveat is that Buick limits some important driver-assistance features to higher trims, and the available highway-speed automatic emergency braking requires the Avenir Technology Package.

Should I buy a 2021 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers a roomy, quiet, powerful, and athletic three-row SUV experience with a more premium feel.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $36,903 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $31,983 CAD average.
• It adds a freshened design and standard driver-assistance technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2021 is the smarter buy because prices are softer and deals are more common. If you want newer styling and more standard safety tech, the 2022 is the better long-term pick, but you’ll pay more for it.
