Used 2021 BMW 3 Series for Sale nearHamilton, ON

How much does the 2021 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have softened 18.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 150 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2021 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and that lines up with the strong enthusiasm in the review summary. You get the kind of sharp handling, powerful performance, and luxurious interior that make this sedan appealing if you want a premium daily driver with real driving character.

The owner feedback also points to fuel economy and trunk space as recurring strengths, which matters if you want something that feels sporty without giving up everyday practicality. In Canada, that broad appeal fits the 3 Series well because it can serve as a luxury commuter, a more efficient plug-in hybrid, or a performance-focused sedan depending on the version you choose.

With 29.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a car that owners generally find dependable and trouble-free enough to recommend, with satisfaction driven by the way it performs and the way it holds up in daily use. That said, a few drivers mentioned audio-system concerns and mechanical noises, so you should still inspect any used example carefully.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium sedan can become expensive if prior maintenance was inconsistent.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 BMW 3 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 150 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,355 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 BMW 3 Series' resale value?

The current average of $32,355 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,533 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the car in good condition, you may be better positioned than someone who buys near the top of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $33,056 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $32,355 CAD average.
• It offers a well-rounded, engaging drive with strong everyday comfort.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $35,208 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $32,355 CAD average.
• It adds minor equipment refinements while keeping the core formula intact.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability, the 2021 is the primary path to consider. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2020 can still make sense, but the 2021's lower average price and strong owner feedback make it the more compelling buy for most shoppers.
