Used 2020 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearCalgary, AB

How much does the 2020 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 6.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 113 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Sienna earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its smooth driving experience, comfort, spacious cargo area, safety features, and reliability. That lines up well with the Sienna’s use case as a practical, space-focused minivan for people and gear, especially if you value versatility over style. The main trade-offs are its dated feel, poor ergonomic design, and twitchy steering, so it suits you best if usefulness matters more than polish. Good and great deals make up 31.0% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile examples to shop.

Is the 2020 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, with many drivers saying they feel confident counting on it for family duty. The expert review also points to stout everyday performance and a durable, practical design that fits long-term use well. If you’re buying used, the main ownership risk is less about the core mechanical package and more about finding one that hasn’t been worn down by years of family hauling.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base CE comes relatively well equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, remote keyless entry, four-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay. The LE adds sliding dual power side doors, heated front seats, easy-clean upholstery, and family-friendly storage touches, and it is the CarGurus recommended configuration for Canada when equipped with AWD. The SE adds 19-inch alloy wheels, a mesh grille, fog lights, leather upholstery, and a power liftgate, while the XLE adds leather-trimmed seating, a power moonroof, woodgrain accents, and power flip-out rear side windows.
• Powertrain: All trims use a 3.5-litre V6 with 296 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while AWD is optional or standard on all trims except the base CE. AWD versions are limited to the 7-passenger configuration, so you give up the 8-passenger layout if you choose it.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P) is standard and includes lane-departure alert, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning and avoidance with pedestrian detection, dynamic cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on SE models and above.
• Infotainment: The base CE gets a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, and five USB ports. Higher trims offer an 8-inch screen, and the Limited adds navigation and a JBL 10-speaker premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-wheel-drive Sienna returns 12.6 L/100 km in the city, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.0 L/100 km combined. AWD versions return 13.4 L/100 km city, 9.6 L/100 km highway, and 11.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2020 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: CE, LE, SE, and XLE.

Here's the short version:

• CE: This is the entry point, but it still brings useful equipment like Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, a 7-inch touchscreen, and four-zone climate control. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Sienna, but the missing convenience features make it less compelling for most family buyers.
• LE: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers. It adds sliding dual power side doors, heated front seats, easy-clean upholstery, and practical storage and sunshade features that suit family use especially well. It is also the recommended Canadian configuration when paired with AWD.
• SE: Choose this if you want more style and convenience, especially the power liftgate. It also adds unique exterior touches and leather upholstery, but the liftgate is the standout upgrade for day-to-day family use.
• XLE: This trim adds a more upscale feel with leather-trimmed seating, a power moonroof, woodgrain accents, and power flip-out rear side windows. It suits you if you want the Sienna’s practicality with a more premium cabin.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on SE models and above.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,605 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $33,636 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,919 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you’re buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations. The current market suggests the Sienna is holding value reasonably well for a used minivan, especially given its practicality and AWD uniqueness. If demand stays steady, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less versatile family vehicles.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2020 Toyota Sienna earns five-star ratings from NHTSA and a Good rating from IIHS in many areas, including side crash, rollover crash, and moderate front overlap crash.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P) is standard and includes lane-departure alert, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning and avoidance with pedestrian detection, dynamic cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on SE models and above. One thing to keep in mind is the Sienna’s twitchy steering, which makes those lane-keeping aids especially relevant on the highway.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 stands out as the only minivan offering AWD.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $41,550 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $33,636 CAD average.
• It brings a major redesign with a standard hybrid powertrain.

The bottom line: If you want the best value and the unique AWD advantage, the 2020 is the smarter buy. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer design and better efficiency, the 2021 is the upgrade path.
