Used 2020 Toyota Camry for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2020 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 3.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 106 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Camry earns 4.71/5 from owners and 7.5/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and great fuel economy, and many also like its stylish design and smooth ride. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a practical midsize sedan that feels more modern and versatile than older Camrys.

The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped and cargo space is limited, and some owners want more horsepower or more advanced features. If you value reliability, comfort, and fuel economy in a family sedan, those compromises may be easy to live with.

Only 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards shoppers who move carefully.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe the Camry as reliable, trouble-free, and a car they can count on over the long term. That lines up with the expert view that Toyota’s tried-and-true powertrains and overall durability remain a major part of the appeal.

Toyota also backs the Camry with a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which adds some reassurance for used buyers. For you, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the car’s core dependability and more about choosing a well-maintained example with the right equipment and history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LE is the value play, but it can feel sparse compared with higher trims. The SE adds better interior trimmings and more colour choices, while the XLE and XSE bring more luxury equipment such as leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control. If you want the best value, the four-cylinder XLE is the sweet spot.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with FWD or AWD, or a 3.5-litre V6 with FWD. The four-cylinder is the efficiency-minded choice, while the V6 is smooth and powerful but costs more to buy and run.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Safety Connect is standard on all but the base model, where it is available in a package. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional.
• Infotainment: Lower trims use a 7-inch screen, while an 8-inch upgrade is available. Android Auto is standard, and Apple CarPlay is included as well. Remote Connect is included with XSE and XLE models, and some trims can add a 10-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-drive four-cylinder XLE and XSE are rated at 7.6 L/100 km, AWD four-cylinder models rise to 8.4 L/100 km, and front-drive V6 models range from 9.0 L/100 km to 9.4 L/100 km depending on trim.

Which 2020 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, SE, XLE, XSE.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point and the most affordable way into the Camry, but it is also the trim where you feel the biggest equipment gap. It makes sense if you want the lowest purchase price and plan to add only the essentials.
• SE: This trim adds more colour choices and better interior trimmings, including synthetic leather seats instead of cloth. It is the better pick if you want a more polished feel without moving too far up the price ladder.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim. It brings more luxury equipment, and the expert review points to the four-cylinder XLE as the sweet spot for price and amenities.
• XSE: This is the sportier choice, with the same upscale equipment direction as the XLE but a more expressive personality. If you want a Camry that feels a bit more premium and athletic, this is the one to consider.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, but Safety Connect is not included on the base model unless you add a package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.76% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,300 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $24,040 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,979 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Camry is still in demand, but buyers have a bit more leverage than they did a year ago. If you are planning to sell later, that can mean you may need to price competitively to stand out.

Even so, the Camry’s reputation for reliability, comfort, and fuel economy should help it remain appealing to used shoppers. Well-equipped trims and clean service histories should hold value better than stripped-down examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2020 Toyota Camry earns the best rating given by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS): Top Safety Pick+ and a five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes a pre-collision system with emergency braking and pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Every Camry also comes with 10 airbags, stability control, and a backup camera.

There are a couple of caveats to keep in mind. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, and Safety Connect is not standard on the base model. Higher trims can add Bird's Eye View for a 360-degree parking perspective.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2020 stands out for the return of all-wheel drive and the available TRD package with 301 horsepower.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,226 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $24,040 CAD average.
• It adds updated infotainment displays and an upgraded Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ package.

The bottom line: If you want the better value and the more distinctive 2020-specific updates, the 2020 is the smarter buy. If you are willing to pay a bit more for newer infotainment and driver-aid updates, the 2021 is the cleaner alternative for price-insensitive shoppers.
