Used 2025 Toyota Camry for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2025 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 14.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 249 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Toyota Camry earns a 4.89/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, exceptional fuel economy, and spacious interior, and many also value how it stacks up against rising used-car prices. The expert review also points to strong value and excellent fuel economy as recurring strengths.

The main trade-offs are a noisy engine and a finicky voice assistant. For you, that means the Camry makes the most sense if you want an efficient, family-friendly midsize sedan that stays easy to live with rather than one that feels especially polished in every detail.

Good and great deals account for 33.7% of listings, which is a decent sign that you can still find competitive pricing.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.89/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a car that feels smooth, efficient, and spacious, while also being valued for its overall dependability and trouble-free character. The expert review reinforces that impression by describing the Camry as a model with a reputation for reliability and no fatal flaws that would likely push a loyal buyer away.

Toyota’s hybrid system is designed to work in the background, and the review notes that the powertrain switches subtly between gas and electric power without jarring transitions. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about core durability and more about living with a few everyday annoyances, especially the voice assistant and some missing convenience features.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels and a mix of cloth and SofTex synthetic leather upholstery, while SE Upgrade and XLE move to black 18-inch wheels and the XSE gets 19-inch wheels. The XSE and XLE also bring perforated leather seats, and the XSE adds sporty exterior touches plus an available two-tone paint treatment.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Camry is hybrid-only, using a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with electric motors. FWD models make 225 horsepower, while AWD models make 232 horsepower, and AWD is standard on all trims except the base SE.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, along with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The suite includes adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist, while XLE and XSE add front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus wireless charging and five USB ports. Higher trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital driver display, while XLE and XSE add a 10-inch head-up display and a nine-speaker JBL Premium Audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates 4.9 L/100 km combined for the FWD version, 5.1 L/100 km combined for AWD models with 18-inch wheels, and 5.3 L/100 km combined for the XSE.

Which 2025 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: SE, SE Upgrade, XLE, XSE.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the value play if you want the lowest entry point into the new hybrid Camry, plus standard wireless smartphone integration, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the efficiency advantage of the hybrid system. It is the best fit if you care most about price and core equipment.
• SE Upgrade: This trim adds a step up in wheel size and a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the luxury-leaning upper trims, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• XLE: This is the comfort-focused pick, with the larger touchscreen, fully digital driver display, head-up display, JBL audio, and the extra parking and traffic-assist features that make daily driving easier.
• XSE: Choose this if you want the sportiest look and the most aggressive wheel and exterior treatment, along with the same high-end tech and safety upgrades as the XLE.

The XLE and XSE also get the added safety and parking-assist features, so they are the trims to target if those systems matter most to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting deep distress pricing.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 249 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.70% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,884 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $38,884 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,587 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to improve your buying position today, but it also means future sellers may face a softer resale environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy now, you are entering at a lower average price than last year’s peak, which can help reduce depreciation pressure over the short term. Strong demand for efficient, well-liked family sedans should still support values better than many alternatives.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2025 Camry is too new to have completed crash testing with independent safety organizations.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard on every trim. XLE and XSE add front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic view monitor, and traffic-jam assist.

The main caveat is that formal crash-test results are not yet available for this model year, so you are relying on Toyota’s equipment list and the Camry’s strong safety history rather than current test scores.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It debuts a new hybrid-only powertrain, fresh styling, and updated tech.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a sporty Nightshade Edition package and a new Cosmos Blue paint colour.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newest redesign, strong efficiency, and a market that has already softened from last year’s pricing. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2026 may be worth a look for its incremental updates, but the 2025 remains the better buy when you want the freshest version of the Camry formula.
