Used 2020 Toyota Camry for Sale nearLondon, ON

How much does the 2020 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 4.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 102 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Camry earns 4.7/5 from owners and 7.5/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and great fuel economy, and many also like its stylish design and smooth ride. For you, that means the Camry fits well if you want a practical midsize sedan that feels polished and easy to live with.

The trade-offs are that some owners want more horsepower and more advanced options, while others mention a learning curve with the newer technology. In use-case terms, this is a strong pick if you value everyday comfort, efficiency, and a more modern sedan feel over outright excitement.

With 23.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable, and they also highlight its dependable nature, comfort, and great fuel economy. The expert assessment reinforces that impression by pointing to Toyota’s reputation for quality, reliability, and value, along with a powertrain lineup that is built around proven hardware.

Toyota also backs the Camry with a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which helps reduce early ownership risk. For used buyers, the main long-term concern is making sure any example you consider has been properly maintained and checked for recall-related issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims feel well finished, but the base model misses some convenience and safety-related equipment that appears higher up the range. If you want a more upscale cabin, the better-trimmed versions add nicer materials and more equipment.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with front-wheel drive, the same engine with all-wheel drive, or a 3.5-litre V6. The four-cylinder is the efficiency play, while the V6 brings more power but higher operating costs.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, and Safety Connect is not standard on the base model.
• Infotainment: Lower trims get a 7-inch screen, while an 8-inch upgrade is available. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, and some trims can add Remote Connect and a larger head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-drive four-cylinder XLE and XSE are rated at 7.6 L/100 km combined, while AWD rises to 8.4 L/100 km. V6 models use 9.0 L/100 km, except for the XSE at 9.2 L/100 km and the TRD at 9.4 L/100 km.

Which 2020 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, SE, XLE, XSE.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the value-focused choice if you want the Camry’s core strengths without stretching your budget. It gives you the basics, and it can be paired with AWD and a comfort package if you want more capability and convenience.
• SE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds better interior trimmings and synthetic leather seats instead of cloth. If you want a more polished feel without jumping too far up the price ladder, this is the one to look at first.
• XLE: Choose this if you want a more upscale Camry with leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and the upgraded audio and infotainment setup. It suits you best if comfort and refinement matter more than keeping the purchase as lean as possible.
• XSE: This is the sportier-feeling trim, with the same upscale equipment path as the XLE but a more expressive character. It also pairs well with the available V6 if you want the strongest performance in the lineup.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the range, but blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert remains optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting for a deep bargain cycle.

• Deal availability: 23.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 102 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.15% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,300 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $24,052 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,092 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Camry has become a bit easier for future buyers to access, which can help keep demand steady in the used market. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of avoiding the steepest part of depreciation. The Camry’s broad appeal also helps support resale because shoppers continue to value its practicality and reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2020 Toyota Camry earns the best rating given by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS): Top Safety Pick+ and a five-star rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes a pre-collision system with emergency braking and pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Every Camry also comes with 10 airbags, stability control, and a backup camera. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, and Safety Connect is standard on all but the base model.

One caveat is that Toyota notes Safety Sense is not quite as comprehensive as in some other Toyota models. There is also a recall tied to leaking engine coolant on certain four-cylinder cars, so you should verify recall completion before you buy.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 23.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings back all-wheel drive and adds the TRD package with 301 horsepower.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,255 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $24,052 CAD average.
• It adds updated infotainment displays and an upgraded driver-aid package.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2020 is the smarter starting point because pricing has eased and the feature set is strong. If you are willing to pay a bit more for incremental updates, the 2021 is the cleaner alternative.
