We have been looking for the wife a car since before Christmas, Then we saw this vehicle OMG this vehicle is totally awesome 2020 Toyota C-HR( Cynthias HotRod) with XLE Package. We picked the Blue one with the two tone paint with black on top. Its almost like its from the FUTURE. Well almost it is 2020 you know. It has Smart Key Technology, Dont even have to take the key out of your pocket or purse. It has push button start, the best part is that the door handles have sensors that can detect when key is close as you grab the door handle the door unlocks, or grab the passenger door it unlocks all doors. It also has sensors for when you get out and run your finger across the sensor on the door handle the doors all lock. It has a very sporty look to it with the Spoiler coming off the roof line above the back window. It is very roomy in the back seat yes it is a 4 door small SUV with a lot of room, could not believe how much room was in the back seats. Could seat 3 adults. The very nice option of folding down the back seats and you have a very nice sized cargo area. The thing has two Screen monitors, one for the setup of your driving system between the two gauges on instrument cluster its the heart of the driving operation of the Toyota Safety Sense(TSS-P) System, ( a bundle of active safety features Pre-Collision System, with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with steering assist, Automatic High Beams, And Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control). The big one in middle of dash ( 8 inch Touch Screen) for the everyday items Radio, Display gas mileage, phone pairing with bluetooth, still reading the manuals and it is a MUST so your get the most out of all the features this SUV has to offer, by the way it is really fun to drive and very comfortable. You can even select how you want drive from Sport, Normal, Economy. We just put 345 miles on it the last 3 days of driving , Has very nice pickup with only a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine along with very nice mileage rating of 25-30 MPG.

How much does the 2020 Toyota C-HR cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $22,252 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $21,835 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $24,395 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $23,948 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −7.08% |
Prices have softened 7.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 129 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2020 Toyota C-HR a good car?
Yes — the 2020 Toyota C-HR earns a 4.86/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners commonly praise its stylish design, affordability, and technology features, and many also like the spacious back seat and sporty driving feel. With 22.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2020 Toyota C-HR reliable?
Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise centred on the car’s overall appeal and day-to-day livability. Some drivers want more power and better fuel efficiency, but the strong satisfaction score suggests many owners feel confident keeping it for the long term.
For used buyers, that usually means lower perceived ownership risk if you choose a well-kept example with a clean history.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota C-HR?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 129 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.08% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $21,835 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2020 Toyota C-HR's resale value?
The current average of $22,252 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,948 CAD.
That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale expectations more conservative if you buy at today’s average. If prices stay near the current range, a later seller may need to price competitively to stand out. On the other hand, the model’s strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when you eventually list it.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2020 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2020 if:
- 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.08% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want a used C-HR with strong owner approval and a market that has eased from last year, the 2020 is a sensible place to start. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced listings rather than the model year alone.
