Is the 2020 RAM ProMaster a good car?

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with praise for its strong performance, smooth ride, and easy driving character. That kind of repeat positive feedback suggests you can count on it for regular work duties if you choose a well-kept example.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the overall reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained properly and not overworked.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 RAM ProMaster?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 102 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,663 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 RAM ProMaster's resale value?

The current average of $29,663 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,222 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some of its recent depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range, you may have less downside exposure when it comes time to sell. Strong demand for practical commercial vans can also help support values, especially when the vehicle has been well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 RAM ProMaster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better pick if you want a well-liked used van with a softer price trend and a reasonable chance of finding a deal. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2020's stronger owner satisfaction signal.
