Is the 2020 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Nissan Murano earns a 4.79/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, smooth ride, and features, and many compare it favourably to higher-end vehicles. That lines up well with its role as a comfort-first midsize SUV, especially if you want a relaxed daily driver with a premium-leaning cabin. With 32.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.79/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with the Murano earning praise for being comfortable and easy to live with over time. That kind of long-term confidence matters if you want a used SUV you can count on without feeling like you’re constantly managing surprises. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 271 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.27% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,438 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $22,438 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,481 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy near the current average, you may have less room for appreciation than in a rising market. On the other hand, the model’s strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfort-focused midsize SUV with strong owner approval and a softer used-market price, the 2020 Murano is a sensible primary choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2020’s current market position.
