Used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearWhitby, ON

How much does the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 18.24% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 80 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. It stands out in the compact SUV class because it offers a third row of seating, giving you seven-seat flexibility for school carpools and short trips. It also brings a straightforward, family-friendly layout, along with sporty handling for the class and good safety results. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Outlander’s reliability story is tied to its practical design and established third-generation platform, which had already picked up useful tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Its strengths are balanced by a four-cylinder engine that is noticeably underpowered and a cabin that can get loud when the engine is working hard. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about whether you can live with its performance and refinement trade-offs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 80 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,864 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $17,864 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,850 CAD.

That drop suggests the Outlander has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be a mixed signal for future resale. On one hand, a lower entry price can help you buy in at a more attractive point. On the other, the model’s faster-than-average depreciation means you should expect resale value to remain more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment level. If you plan to sell later, buying well now matters even more.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Outlander makes the most sense if you want a compact SUV with uncommon seven-seat flexibility and you value a lower current asking price. If your priority is getting the best deal, this year is worth a close look; if you want to stretch your budget further, a nearby year may also be worth comparing, especially if you can find a cleaner example with the right equipment and condition.
