Is the 2020 INFINITI QX50 reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 INFINITI QX50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Inventory: There are 82 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,849 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 INFINITI QX50's resale value?

The current average of $21,127 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,511 CAD.

That drop means a future seller may face more price pressure than someone who bought earlier in the cycle. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help offset some of that depreciation risk. If you plan to sell in a few years, condition and mileage will matter even more in protecting your return.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 INFINITI QX50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 is a sensible choice if you want a used QX50 with strong owner approval and a softer price than last year. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a different year may be worth considering, but the 2020 stands out as the better-balanced option for shoppers who value satisfaction and current pricing.
