Used 2020 Honda Accord for Sale nearOrleans, ON

How much does the 2020 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 14.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 161 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Honda Accord a good car?

Generally — the 2020 Honda Accord earns 4.35/5 from owners and 8.33/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

Drivers consistently praise its comfort, stylish design, and great value, and many also highlight the performance of the 2.0T engine and the advanced Honda Sensing safety system. The Accord’s polished cabin, easy-to-use technology, and strong practicality also come through clearly in owner feedback.

The trade-offs are that acceleration can feel weaker with the air conditioning on, and some owners noted transmission concerns. In expert testing, the base engine is described as underwhelming, so the most satisfying version may depend on which powertrain you choose.

Given the Accord’s family-sedan use case, it makes the most sense if you want a practical car that still feels refined and engaging. With 28.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is also a decent amount of market opportunity.

Is the 2020 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.35/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that is dependable, comfortable, and frequently described as a worthwhile investment. The expert evaluation also says the Accord can go the distance and provide a decade or more of faithful, useful, and enjoyable service.

Honda’s cost-effectiveness notes reinforce that long-haul impression, with the car presented as something that can stay in your life for years. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is that any neglected transmission or powertrain issue could matter more over time than the Accord’s otherwise strong reputation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Honda Accord?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Touring trim adds the most obvious equipment gap-filler, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, while lower trims rely on LaneWatch instead. The Touring also gets a head-up display and other upscale touches that make it the most complete version.
• Powertrain: Most models use a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder with a CVT and front-wheel drive. If you want stronger performance, the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with a ten-speed automatic is the one to seek out.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard on every trim level and includes forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. Lower models get LaneWatch instead of blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: The available 8-inch touchscreen includes Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and text-messaging support. Touring adds HondaLink subscription services, a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, and wireless device charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid powertrain averaged 5.5 L/100 km in testing, while the turbocharged 2.0-litre version returned 8.6 L/100 km during testing and was rated at 9.1 L/100 km combined by Natural Resources Canada.

Which 2020 Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2020 Honda Accord is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, Sport, EX-L, and Touring.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, but it misses some of the richer equipment and visual presence of the higher trims. It makes sense if you want the Accord’s core space and safety without paying for extras.
• Sport: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more presence and a ten-speaker premium audio system, while also being available with the engine upgrade. If you want a more appealing daily driver without jumping to the top trim, this is the one to focus on.
• EX-L: This trim sits above Sport and is the better pick if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to Touring. It suits buyers who value comfort and refinement.
• Touring: This is the most fully equipped Accord, with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, HondaLink, a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, wireless charging, and a head-up display. It is the right choice if you want the most complete version.

Honda Sensing is standard across the range, but blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is reserved for Touring.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 161 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,396 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $22,396 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,154 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values stay under pressure. The Accord’s strong reputation for comfort, usability, and technology should help support demand, though resale will still depend on trim, condition, and mileage.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.35/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Honda Accord safe?

The 2020 Honda Accord is a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and earns five-star ratings in every assessment conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard on every trim level and includes forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. Lower trims use LaneWatch, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is reserved for Touring.

One caveat is that the adaptive cruise control can be smoother, and the forward collision warning and lane departure warning systems can give false alerts in some conditions.

Should I buy a 2020 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.35/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Expert testing highlights its polished styling, strong driving dynamics, and broad practicality.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $24,887 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $22,396 CAD average.
• Honda refined the features list and pushed the Accord in a more elevated direction.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the smarter starting point because pricing has eased and inventory is available. If you are willing to spend more for a newer, more elevated-feeling Accord, the 2021 is the better secondary path.
