The current average of $21,982 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,450 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point now, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Transit Connect or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 makes sense if you want a well-liked used van with a softer price trend and a decent share of attractive listings. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and deal quality.
