Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Ford Transit Connect?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but still need to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 115 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,814 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Ford Transit Connect's resale value?

The current average of $22,953 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,798 CAD.

That kind of softening can make the vehicle easier to buy now, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If the market continues to favour buyers, resale values may stay under pressure unless a specific listing is especially well kept or well equipped. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Transit Connect or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Transit Connect with strong owner approval and a market that is giving you some negotiating room, the 2020 is a sensible year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-priced, best-maintained example rather than the year alone.
