Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Generally — the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 4.33/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers repeatedly praise its ride quality, stylish design, and feature-rich feel, and many also like how smooth it is to drive. It fits well if you want a midsize, five-passenger SUV with a modern layout and everyday usability rather than a rugged utility focus. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive example.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.33/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise centred on the ride quality and overall driving experience. That kind of repeat satisfaction matters when you are looking for a used SUV you can count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying too much for a vehicle whose value-for-money reputation is mixed.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 96 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.45% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,398 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $23,707 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,895 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Blazer has softened enough to give you a better entry point as a buyer, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if the market stays soft. If you buy near the lower end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure. Strong demand from shoppers who like the Blazer’s style and driving feel should help support resale interest, even if value concerns remain part of the conversation.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.33/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.33/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,540 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $23,707 CAD average.
• It is a rarer, more style-focused SUV with a premium feel.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better starting point if you want the Blazer’s style and features without paying the newer-year premium. If you are price-sensitive, the 2020 gives you the stronger value play; if you care more about the newer-year positioning and are willing to spend more, the 2021 is the alternative to compare.
