Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Generally — the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which points to solid owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise the ride quality, stylish design, and the broad feature set, and many also like how smooth and easy it feels to live with day to day. Is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value a smooth ride and a well-liked driving experience. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 97 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,308 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $23,308 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,091 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Blazer has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to resell. The current price trend also suggests buyers are still price-sensitive, so a clean, well-equipped example should remain easier to move than an overpriced one.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,040 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $23,308 CAD average.
• It is rarer on the road and leans harder into style and handling.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the better starting point if you want a more affordable used Blazer with decent deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If you care more about the Blazer’s style-first personality and are willing to pay more, the 2021 is the alternative to consider; otherwise, the 2020 is the smarter value play for price-sensitive buyers.
