How much does the 2020 Audi Q5 cost?

There are 226 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Audi Q5 earns a 4.57/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, smooth driving experience, and comfortable interior, and many also highlight its handling and performance. It fits well if you want a compact luxury SUV that feels polished and practical for everyday use. With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with the Q5’s refined character and comfort standing out over time. That said, some buyers mention cargo space and feature packaging as trade-offs, so you should still inspect condition and equipment carefully on any used example. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about finding a well-kept vehicle with the right options and maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 226 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.57% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,438 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $23,438 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,782 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more attractive to buyers now but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you own one, the softer pricing trend means your resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment than it would have been a year ago. Well-kept examples should still hold appeal because the model has broad buyer interest in the compact luxury SUV segment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $27,727 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $23,438 CAD average.
• It continues the plug-in hybrid focus for buyers who want electrified efficiency.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and a wider pool of discounted listings. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and are specifically interested in the electrified angle, the 2021 is the better secondary path for price-sensitive buyers who still want a premium compact SUV.
