The Audi Q3 is a great car. It’s not as roomy as a true SUV but it has most of the upgrades I was looking for: all wheel drive, digital dash board, touch screen, several different driving modes, sun roof. What it’s missing: the panels are plastic, passenger seat is manual, doesn’t have the wireless charging station, the camera isn’t as clear as I would like. The sports package for the Q3 Quattro is worth the upgrade.

The car is amazing and it’s a much smaller version of the Q5. Personally I felt cramped inside and will be purchasing the Q5 instead.

| Year-Round Low | $23,314 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $28,683 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $28,651 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −18.58% |
Prices have softened 18.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 106 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.
Is the 2020 Audi Q3 a good car?
Yes — the 2020 Audi Q3 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its smooth ride, high-tech features, and solid build quality, and many also like the all-wheel drive and the upscale feel of the leather and wood interior. At the same time, some owners mention a cramped cabin compared with larger models and note a few missing conveniences. With 24.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully.
Is the 2020 Audi Q3 reliable?
Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free feel in everyday use, with comments that suggest it is a vehicle many people feel comfortable counting on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been well maintained, since any premium compact SUV can become more expensive to live with if upkeep has been neglected.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi Q3?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.
- Deal availability: 24.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.58% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $23,314 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2020 Audi Q3's resale value?
The current average of $23,329 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,651 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle more attractive to buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for depreciation pressure than someone who bought when prices were higher. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2020 if:
- 24.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.58% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2020 Audi Q3 makes sense if you want a well-liked compact luxury SUV and you can take advantage of the softer pricing in today’s market. If you’re more price-sensitive, it’s worth comparing nearby model years and focusing on the best-priced examples rather than paying extra for a similar vehicle.
