Used 2020 Acura RDX for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2020 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 12.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 192 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Acura RDX a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Acura RDX earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its smooth drive, strong performance, and great value, along with the range of features, safety aspects, and comfortable handling. The RDX also stands out for offering plenty of space and a well-equipped cabin for the money.

The trade-offs are clear: the infotainment system is clunky and unintuitive, and some owners wanted features such as a spare tire, adjustable rear seats, and a touchscreen interface. Even so, if you want a compact luxury crossover that feels well equipped and practical, the RDX fits that brief well.

With 26.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still decent market room to find a strong-value example.

Is the 2020 Acura RDX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe the RDX as smooth, strong, comfortable, and great value, with several comments pointing to a dependable ownership experience and a vehicle they feel good about keeping long term. The expert test-drive notes also support that impression by highlighting solid performance and a well-rounded driving character.

If you are shopping used, the main long-term ownership risk is less about durability and more about living with the infotainment system and feature omissions that some buyers may find frustrating.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base RDX comes well equipped with synthetic leather upholstery, 19-inch alloy wheels, 12-way power-adjustable heated front seats, a panoramic moonroof, acoustic front glass, a 10.2-inch infotainment screen, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and a host of driver-assistance features. Tech adds additional driver-assistance features, rain-sensing wipers, and rear-door keyless entry. A-Spec adds unique 20-inch wheels and bumpers, larger exhaust outlets, LED fog lights, a unique diamond pattern grille, ventilated front seats, Acura's UltraSuede upholstery, and sport pedals. Platinum Elite A-Spec adds 16-way power front seats, heated rear seats, natural Olive Ash wood trim, a 10.5-inch head-up display, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard SH-AWD. The powertrain delivers strong acceleration, and the transmission helps with both performance and fuel efficiency.
• Safety package: The RDX includes lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, road-departure mitigation, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow. Tech adds front and rear parking sensors. Platinum Elite A-Spec adds a 360-degree surround-view camera.
• Infotainment: The RDX uses a 10.2-inch infotainment screen with Acura’s True Touchpad Interface. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with Bluetooth, two USB ports, a WiFi hot spot, a 9-speaker audio system, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Tech adds navigation with real-time traffic updates and Acura’s ELS premium audio system, while A-Spec gets the ELS Studio 3D premium sound system with 16 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The RDX A-Spec with SH-AWD is rated at 11.3 L/100 km in the city, 9.1 L/100 km on the highway, and 10.3 L/100 km combined. It also takes premium fuel.

Which 2020 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2020 Acura RDX is offered in 4 trim levels: RDX, Tech, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec.

Here's the short version:

• RDX: This is the best-value choice because it already includes a strong standard equipment list, broad driver-assistance coverage, and the core luxury features most shoppers want. If you want the most content for the money, this is the trim to target.
• Tech: Choose this if you want added convenience and a better audio and navigation experience, including rear-door keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, navigation with real-time traffic updates, and Acura’s ELS premium audio system.
• A-Spec: Pick this if you want the sportier look and upgraded cabin feel, plus ventilated front seats, UltraSuede upholstery, sport pedals, and the 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D sound system.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: This is the most luxurious version, with 16-way power front seats, heated rear seats, Olive Ash wood trim, a head-up display, and a surround-view camera.

The safety package is strong across the range, and the Tech, A-Spec, and Platinum Elite A-Spec add extra equipment rather than changing the RDX’s core safety character.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and still find value.

• Deal availability: 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 192 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,067 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $30,068 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,386 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RDX has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract interest if they price competitively. A softer market can also mean you may need to be more realistic about expectations if you plan to sell later.

Even so, the RDX’s strong value proposition and broad appeal should help it remain relevant with shoppers who want a well-equipped luxury crossover. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Acura RDX safe?

The 2020 Acura RDX earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The RDX comes standard with a full suite of driver-assistance features, including lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, road-departure mitigation, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow. Standard safety hardware also includes front- and side-impact airbags, LATCH child-seat mounting systems, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill-start assist, and a rear-view camera with a washer nozzle.

Tech adds front and rear parking sensors, while Platinum Elite A-Spec adds a 10.5-inch head-up display and a 360-degree surround-view camera. The main caveat is that some of the most advanced convenience features are reserved for higher trims.

Should I buy a 2020 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers strong value, plenty of space, and excellent safety tech.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $32,837 CAD, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $30,068 CAD average.
• It brings Acura’s completely rethought True Touch Interface infotainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2020 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction and a well-equipped package. If you are willing to spend more for a newer-feeling cabin and updated infotainment, the 2021 is the better alternative.
