The current average of $25,783 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,159 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should be set with the current softer pricing in mind. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may be better positioned to recover value later than someone who pays closer to the top of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
