Is the 2019 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. For you, that makes it especially appealing if you want a practical family vehicle that prioritises space and everyday usefulness. Is the 2019 Toyota Sienna reliable?

The owner feedback repeatedly points to reliability, and it also describes the Sienna as dependable and trouble-free for family use. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the vehicle’s core appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained properly over time.

What is the 2019 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $28,008 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,020 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can make future resale a little more competitive for you as an owner. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside exposure later than someone who bought when prices were higher. The Sienna’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it is time to sell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $33,249 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,008 CAD average.
• It adds all-wheel drive for extra traction in poor weather.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and strong owner satisfaction. If you are willing to pay more for all-wheel drive and extra traction, the 2020 is the better alternative.
