Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 544 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,840 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $15,870 CAD sits slightly below last year's $18,892 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Rogue has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy at today’s average, your resale upside may be more limited unless you choose a well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history. The good news is that steady owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.73/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $14,891 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $15,870 CAD average.
• It adds advanced driver-assist tech and a more affordable entry point.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $17,533 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $15,870 CAD average.
• It offers a more polished look, though it feels more dated overall.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of value, comfort, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the smarter secondary path; if you want a newer-feeling example and can spend more, the 2020 is worth a look.
