How much does the 2019 Nissan LEAF cost?

There are 53 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Nissan LEAF a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Nissan LEAF earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its reliability, fun driving experience, and top-notch sound system, and many also like its handling and the convenience of charging at home. The main trade-off is that some owners note the limited range, so it tends to fit city commuting better than long road trips. With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 Nissan LEAF reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliability, dependable day-to-day use, and a car that many people feel comfortable counting on. That kind of response suggests the LEAF can be a sensible used buy if you want an EV with a reassuring ownership reputation. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is choosing a car whose range no longer matches your daily driving needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Nissan LEAF?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 53 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,973 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Nissan LEAF's resale value?

The current average of $14,933 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,086 CAD.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can make the car more attractive to buyers today but slightly less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you plan to resell later, the current pricing trend points to steady rather than rising value. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Nissan LEAF or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a good choice if you want a used LEAF with solid owner satisfaction and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2019's current market position.
