Generally — the 4.46/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a well-liked compact luxury car. The user feedback points to a car that many owners find dependable and satisfying over time, especially when it comes to build quality and the overall ownership experience. For you, the main ownership risk is buying a poorly cared-for example with unresolved electronic or comfort-related issues.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 294 listings available.

The current average of $31,088 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,659 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car more approachable for you now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the chance of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The model’s premium badge and broad appeal should still help support demand, especially among shoppers looking for a compact luxury sedan.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.46/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.46/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newer cabin tech, stronger standard equipment, and a market that has already softened, the 2019 is the better primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby older year may be worth considering, but you’ll want to balance that against the 2019’s more modern features and stronger overall appeal.
