Is the 2019 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 4.57/5 user rating suggests you should feel confident considering it. Owners consistently praise its comfort, strong power, and broad feature set, and many also say it offers good value relative to competitors. That lines up well with its role as a versatile full-size pickup that can work as a truck, family vehicle, or more premium daily driver. Is the 2019 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that feels dependable and trouble-free for many buyers, with strong satisfaction around comfort, power, and overall ownership experience. That said, some owners mention interior quality concerns in lower trims, so condition and trim level still matter when you shop used.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a truck that was poorly maintained or equipped below your expectations.

• Inventory: There are 1,074 listings available.

What is the 2019 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $28,231 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,511 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you should be better positioned to protect value later. The F-150’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction help support demand in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $25,100 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $28,231 CAD average.
• It is a more well-rounded truck for everyday use.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,588 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,231 CAD average.
• It adds a more modern, comfortable cabin.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong middle-ground choice if you want a well-liked F-150 with softened pricing and plenty of listings to compare. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the better value play; if you want a newer-feeling cabin and can spend more, the 2020 is worth a look.
