Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan earns a 4.63/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and excellent value for the price, and many appreciate how the Stow ’n Go seating makes it easy to switch between passenger and cargo duty. That fits the Grand Caravan’s role as a practical, value-focused minivan that prioritises space, easy entry and exit, and family-friendly flexibility. With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you may find solid value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially when it comes to everyday usefulness and the van’s long-term practicality. The strongest praise centres on its value, spaciousness, and versatility, which are the traits people tend to count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear can matter more than the badge itself, so condition and maintenance history should carry a lot of weight.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 565 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,305 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $17,305 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,175 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Grand Caravan easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you own one, the softer pricing trend means resale value is more likely to depend on condition, mileage, and maintenance than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still appeal to shoppers who want maximum utility at a lower entry price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan makes the most sense if you want a practical, space-maximising minivan and you value price over polish. If your priority is getting the most value from the current market, the 2019 is a sensible primary choice; if you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a better-equipped or lower-priced example is available.
