Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, smooth ride, and excellent value for the price, and many also like the versatility of the Stow ’n Go seating for moving people and cargo. For you, that makes it a practical choice if you want a family-focused minivan that prioritises space and flexibility over flash. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value in the market.

Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many people can count on for everyday family use, especially when it comes to practicality and long-term usefulness. At the same time, some owners have raised concerns about brake durability and the desire for more safety features, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear may show up in the braking system and other components.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 566 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.04% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,014 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $17,044 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,544 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. Because the market is still showing a decent share of good and great deals, you may have room to negotiate on the front end and reduce your exposure to further value loss. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?
