Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan earns a 4.63/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and excellent value for the price, and many also like the versatility of the Stow ’n Go seating for moving people and cargo. That fits especially well if you want a practical, value-focused minivan with easy entry and exit, comfortable seating in all rows, and a cabin laid out for family use. With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market choice if you want to shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many people have found dependable for everyday family use, especially when it comes to space, comfort, and straightforward utility. The same reviews also highlight its long-term appeal as a practical minivan that owners can count on for hauling passengers and cargo with minimal fuss. At the same time, used buyers should still budget for age-related wear and inspect carefully for maintenance history, since long-term ownership risk rises as these vans get older.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 558 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,269 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $17,271 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,133 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the van easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect buyers to be value-conscious and to compare your listing closely against other examples. The good news is that a model with strong owner satisfaction can still attract steady interest, especially if it presents well and has solid maintenance records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a practical, value-focused minivan and the 2019’s current pricing fits your budget, it makes sense to focus on this year first because it combines strong owner approval with a softer market. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2019’s balance of satisfaction and availability.
