How much does the 2019 Dodge Durango cost?

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Durango earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features. You also get a stylish design and a smooth driving experience, which helps it fit well if you want a three-row SUV that feels more muscular than many rivals. The Durango’s standard seven-passenger layout and available second-row captain’s chairs make it especially useful if you need flexible family seating.

With 24.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a meaningful share of attractive inventory for you to consider.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find reliable, dependable, and trouble-free over time. That said, the model’s broader history includes some reliability concerns, so you should still pay close attention to maintenance records and inspection results when shopping used.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a neglected example could bring avoidable repair costs later.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 113 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,068 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $24,538 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,337 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The current spread between the year-ago average and today’s average also shows that sellers may need to be realistic when pricing a used Durango.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 24.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,446 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,538 CAD average.
• It adds a more muscle-car-like identity with eye-catching styling and potent engine choices.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the better value and a strong mix of space, performance, and owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer model with a more pronounced muscle-car presentation, the 2020 is the secondary path to consider.
