Is the 2019 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Dodge Durango earns a 4.87/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, powerful performance, and family-friendly features, while also appreciating its stylish design and smooth driving experience. For you, that means it fits well if you want a three-row SUV that balances everyday usefulness with a more muscular personality than many rivals. With 26.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Dodge Durango reliable?

Owners rate it 4.87/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback describes it as a reliable mid-size SUV, and owners also highlight its trouble-free feel in everyday use. That said, used buyers should still budget for a careful inspection, since long-term ownership risk can rise if prior recall-related repairs or maintenance were missed.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Dodge Durango?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 102 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,063 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $24,154 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,193 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the vehicle is especially well kept or unusually well equipped. Strong demand for roomy, powerful three-row SUVs can still support values, but the current trend shows buyers have more leverage than they did a year ago.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.87/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.87/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $28,930 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,154 CAD average.
• It offers a more up-to-date-feeling take on the same seven-passenger muscle-SUV formula.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully within a softer market. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2019 is the smarter path; if you’re willing to pay more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2020 is the secondary option to compare.
