How much does the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 21.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 93 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. You get a family-focused three-row SUV that prioritises space above all else, with plenty of room for passengers and cargo, plus comfort features that make daily use easier. It also suits you well if you want a roomy, straightforward, and user-friendly family SUV rather than something flashy or sporty. With 38.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is a healthy share of attractive options in the market.

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as dependable and appreciate its spaciousness, which is a good sign if you want a used SUV you can count on for family duty. The second-generation redesign also improved reliability compared with the original Traverse, though it is still only about average versus some competitors. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk looks manageable, but you should still shop carefully and favour well-maintained examples.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 93 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,539 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $19,539 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,872 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Traverse easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to own it for a while, the current pricing gives you a lower entry point, but resale gains are unlikely to be dramatic unless you buy especially well. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, practical three-row SUV and you value a lower purchase price, the 2019 Traverse is the one to focus on. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar example offers a better deal, but the 2019 stands out as a sensible primary target for family buyers.
