How much does the 2019 Buick Encore cost?

Is the 2019 Buick Encore a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Buick Encore earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its spacious interior, stylish design, and fuel efficiency, and many also see it as a good value for a smaller SUV. The main trade-offs mentioned are limited power and some feature omissions, so it tends to appeal most if comfort, efficiency, and everyday practicality matter more than performance. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Buick Encore reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on its fuel efficiency and overall value. That kind of feedback suggests you can reasonably count on it for routine ownership if the specific used example has been maintained well. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about broad owner sentiment and more about finding a well-kept example that avoids the feature and performance compromises some drivers noted.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Buick Encore?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 168 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,051 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Buick Encore's resale value?

The current average of $15,100 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,939 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Encore has become more accessible for buyers, which can make it a tougher vehicle for sellers to command top dollar in the short term. If you plan to resell later, the current market gives you a useful benchmark: buying near the lower end of the range can help protect your position when it is time to sell. Strong owner satisfaction can also help support demand over time, especially for shoppers looking for a compact SUV with a practical reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Buick Encore or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a compact SUV with strong owner satisfaction, a lower average price, and enough inventory to compare options, the 2019 is the better starting point. If you are especially price-sensitive, focus on listings near the low end of the range and be ready to move quickly when you find one that is well priced and well maintained.
