Used 2019 BMW 3 Series for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2019 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have softened 11.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 163 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and it fits a car that blends strong driving character, useful technology, and a premium feel. The 2019 3 Series sits at the end of the sixth generation, which broadened the lineup with more body styles and powertrains than many buyers expect, and Canadian models were offered with standard all-wheel drive on most versions. It also gives you a choice of manual or automatic transmission, which adds to its appeal if you want a used luxury car with real versatility.

That said, it is still a premium German car with the complexity that comes with that territory, and the cabin is described as luxurious but tight, especially in the back seat. Even so, the market shows 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2019 3 Series benefits from the sixth generation’s improved reputation compared with the earlier E90, which is encouraging if you want a used BMW with a better ownership track record. At the same time, the source material notes that these cars are more complex than many rivals and that maintenance costs can be significant, so you should budget carefully for upkeep.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is not just whether the car runs well today, but whether you are prepared for premium-brand maintenance and repair costs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 BMW 3 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 163 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,625 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $24,651 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,921 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit near-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and maintenance history than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the 3 Series remains a desirable luxury sport sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $33,762 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $24,651 CAD average.
• It adds a stronger performance-focused identity with the M340i.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable with a more mature version of the 3 Series formula. If you are willing to spend more for a newer, more performance-oriented option, the 2020 is the better path; if price matters most, the 2019 is the smarter buy.
