Is the 2019 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Audi Q5 earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its luxurious feel, ample features, and comfortable ride, and many also like its handling, power, and practical family-friendly design. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a premium compact SUV that balances comfort, quality, and everyday usefulness. Is the 2019 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centred on comfort, features, and everyday usability. For used buyers, the main risk is less about outright reliability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some leverage if you compare carefully.
• Inventory: There are 348 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,157 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $21,157 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,672 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The current inventory and deal mix also suggest buyers have options, which can keep resale values competitive rather than inflated.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 25.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,037 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,157 CAD average.
• It offers a redesigned package with more room, improved sophistication, and strong all-round appeal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2019 if you want the stronger current-market value story and a well-liked ownership experience. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the better price-sensitive alternative and still brings a compelling mix of refinement and practicality.
