The review summary points to a vehicle that owners generally find dependable in daily use, with a comfortable, trouble-free feel and enough refinement to make it easy to live with over the long term. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used luxury SUV you can count on for regular commuting, family duty, and year-round driving.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly and still feels as polished as it should.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 359 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,837 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $21,837 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,382 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Q5 more attractive to buyers now but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices stay soft. If you buy at the right number, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. A well-kept example should still hold appeal because it remains a desirable compact luxury SUV with broad everyday usefulness.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,411 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,837 CAD average.
• It was a major redesign with more room, better tech, and improved refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced buy, the 2019 is the safer choice because it combines strong owner satisfaction with a softer market price and decent deal availability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2018 is the better value path, especially if you find one in clean condition and well maintained.
