The car is an excellent combination of coupe and sedan with enormous trunk capacity. It is also quite sporty. This is the way to go if one is not enamored of an SUV but want the practicality of same.

How much does the 2019 Audi A5 Sportback cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $23,155 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $23,091 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $26,729 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $25,385 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −8.78% |
Prices have softened 8.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 60 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.
Is the 2019 Audi A5 Sportback a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used car that has already earned positive real-world approval. With 26.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2019 Audi A5 Sportback reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used-car buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around ownership, though you should still evaluate maintenance history and overall condition carefully.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A5 Sportback?
This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.
- Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 60 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.78% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $23,091 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 Audi A5 Sportback's resale value?
The current average of $23,155 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,385 CAD.
That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can matter if you're planning to sell later. A softer current price can limit near-term upside, but it may also help keep the car attractive to buyers who are comparing similar listings. If demand stays steady, a well-kept example should still hold reasonable appeal.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2019 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 8.78% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction and current pricing, the 2019 is the primary year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the appeal of this model year's current market position.
