Is the 2019 Audi A3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a model year that has resonated well with owners. That kind of feedback usually points to a car that delivers a satisfying day-to-day ownership experience for many shoppers.

With 36.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance of finding a competitively priced example if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Audi A3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around ownership, though you should still budget for the usual wear-and-tear checks and a thorough pre-purchase inspection.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.24% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,422 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $20,045 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,840 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can be a mixed signal if you’re buying now but a useful one if you plan to sell later. A lower entry price today can help you avoid overpaying, while a softer market may also mean resale gains are more limited in the near term.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a sensible choice if you want a used Audi A3 with proven owner appeal and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If you’re price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
