Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 86 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,943 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A3's resale value?

The current average of $18,943 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,314 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, buying well below the current average matters more than usual. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better pick if you want a used Audi A3 with solid owner approval and a softer price environment. If you're especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the 2019's current market position.
