Why it stands out
The 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid showcases Toyota's expertise in both SUVs and hybrid technology. Since its introduction, it has become a popular choice due to its excellent fuel efficiency, achieving a combined fuel economy figure of just 6.0 litres per 100 kilometres. The vehicle combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, providing a total output of 219 horsepower and on-demand all-wheel drive (AWD). Owners have praised its numerous safety features and comfortable ride, with many highlighting the smooth driving experience and stylish design. However, some drivers note that the vehicle can be somewhat noisy at highway speeds and that certain trims lack features like satellite radio. Overall, this hybrid SUV presents a compelling choice for buyers seeking reliability, economy, and comfort.

Great car so far. My first hybrid car. I have driven first gen Priuses, Nissan Leaf, and this is much improved from those days. Having All Wheel drive is key for me, and this vehicle fits the bill. I love this body style as Toyota has changed RAV4 body style in 2019, which to me is more square instead of roundish edges on the 2018. This mid SUV is comfortable driving, has plenty of power, and overall a quiet vehicle. LE doesn’t have Satellite radio option is my only minor complaint. Super vehicle with gas prices still going in the wrong direction.

I am very satisfied with the car. It has a number of safety features (e.g. Dynamic Cruise Control, Cross Traffic Alert, back up camera) that make driving much safer and easier. It handles well. On the highway it can be a little noisy. I also like the look of the car.
