Is the 2018 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 4.58/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. That fits well if you want a practical midsize sedan that feels more polished and modern than earlier Camrys without giving up everyday ease of use. With 23.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.58/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights reliable performance, which lines up with the Camry’s reputation for dependability and trouble-free ownership. Reviewers describe it as a car they can count on, especially for comfortable daily driving and long-term use. For used buyers, that suggests lower ownership risk than many midsize sedans, though you should still check maintenance history and condition carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage but should still move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 23.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 130 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,527 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $21,059 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,058 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a plus if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations. The current market suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help limit further downside if you keep the car in good condition. Strong demand for well-kept examples should continue to support values, especially for trims and listings that stand out on condition and equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 23.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-rounded midsize sedan with strong owner approval, the 2018 is a sensible choice and a good place to start your search. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a similar Camry offers a lower entry price or a better deal on the exact equipment you want.
