Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Porsche Macan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully before committing.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,046 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $29,046 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,351 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The Macan’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should focus on the 2018 if you want the Macan’s sporty character, premium feel, and strong owner approval at a more attractive price point than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is also worth comparing nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced example offers similar satisfaction and condition for less money.
