Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mitsubishi RVR?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 97 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.87% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,664 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mitsubishi RVR's resale value?

The current average of $14,244 CAD sits slightly below last year's $14,515 CAD.

That suggests the market has eased a bit, which can work in your favour if you're buying now. If you plan to sell later, the softer pricing trend means you may want to keep the vehicle well maintained and priced competitively to protect your return. For a future seller, the current range also shows there is still a clear ceiling in the market, so condition and mileage will matter when you list.

Should I buy a 2018 Mitsubishi RVR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.87% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing and available inventory, the 2018 is a sensible place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years as well, but the 2018 already offers a market with decent deal availability and a softer price trend that can help you negotiate.
