Used 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 13.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 88 listings available, which gives you a useful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a model that resonates well with shoppers. The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander stands out because it offers third-row seating, giving you seven-seat flexibility in a compact SUV package. It also brings practical everyday usability, a comfortable ride, and adequately poised handling, which makes it a sensible choice for commuting and family duty. For 2018, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto were available, adding to its appeal if you want modern connectivity in a mainstream SUV.

There are trade-offs, though: the four-cylinder engine was described as underpowered for the vehicle’s size and weight, and the engine-CVT combination could sound loud and unrefined. Even so, the Outlander’s mix of seating versatility and utility makes it a practical fit if those compromises are acceptable to you.

With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander also benefits from strong safety results and Mitsubishi’s unusually generous powertrain warranty, both of which support confidence if you plan to keep the vehicle for a while. Its comfortable ride and everyday-friendly handling further suggest a vehicle that can serve you well in regular use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the value proposition depends on finding one that has been maintained properly, especially given the model’s less-refined powertrain character.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 88 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,294 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $14,294 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,498 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you’re buying now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment. If you own one for several years, the current market suggests you should expect value retention to be more modest than stronger rivals. The upside is that lower entry pricing can help offset some of that depreciation pressure when you buy used.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used compact SUV with seven-seat flexibility, everyday comfort, and a lower asking price, the 2018 is the primary year to focus on. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar Outlander offers a better deal, but the 2018 already looks attractive on value.
