Used 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearQuebec, QC

How much does the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 12.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 84 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice when comparing condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a model year that resonates well with shoppers. The 2018 Outlander stands out because it offers third-row seating in a compact SUV package, giving you more passenger flexibility than many rivals. It also has a practical, family-friendly layout, while still delivering the everyday utility you’d expect from a mainstream SUV. For Canadian buyers who want a sensible commuter with extra seating capacity, that combination is appealing. The market also shows 29.8% of listings as good or great deals, which adds to the opportunity.

Is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2018 Outlander’s appeal is supported by strong safety results and Mitsubishi’s unusually generous powertrain warranty, both of which help reduce some ownership concerns. Its comfortable ride and adequately poised handling also point to a vehicle that should be easy to live with day to day. The main caution for used buyers is that the engine and CVT combination can feel strained, so long-term ownership risk is more about drivability and refinement than outright durability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 84 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.57% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,493 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $14,493 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,577 CAD.

That price movement suggests the 2018 Outlander has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you’re buying now but less ideal if you’re planning to sell soon. Because the model has softened in value, future resale gains are unlikely to be strong unless you buy exceptionally well and keep the vehicle in excellent condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a compact SUV with third-row seating, a comfortable ride, and a price that has already come down, the 2018 Outlander is the better fit when you find a well-priced example. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a similar configuration is available at a lower asking price, but the 2018 remains a sensible primary target for shoppers who value passenger flexibility.
