Used 2018 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearMontreal, QC

How much does the 2018 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have softened 7.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 226 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 4.71/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its sporty feel, fuel efficiency, and reliable performance, while also valuing the handling and features you get for the price. For you, that makes it a smart fit if you want a compact car that balances everyday practicality with a more engaging personality and a more premium feel than many mainstream rivals. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to reliable performance, dependable day-to-day use, and a car that many people feel good about keeping for the long term. That said, some owners have mentioned minor issues like USB power concerns and air-conditioning problems, so you should still check service records and test all comfort and convenience features before buying. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about broad reliability and more about making sure any individual car has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Mazda MAZDA3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 226 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,998 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $15,078 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,307 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less favourable if you are planning to sell soon. If you own one, the softer pricing means your resale value may not be as strong as it was a year ago, especially if your car is priced above the market average. On the other hand, the model’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Mazda MAZDA3 is a strong choice if you want a compact car that feels more engaging and upscale than many rivals, especially if you value its mix of style, equipment, and everyday usability. If you are price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years as well, but the 2018 stands out as a sensible target when you find a well-priced example with the features you want.
