Yes — the 2018 Lexus NX earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its stylish, luxurious feel, good road handling, and gas economy, while the overview also highlights its distinctive design and premium cabin. If you want a compact luxury SUV that stands out visually and suits shoppers who value style, dependability, and a premium feel more than maximum space, it fits that use case well. The user feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free enough to keep owners happy over time, with the overview also describing the model line as having an exceptional reliability record. Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 92 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,385 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $26,631 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,617 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may temper what a future seller can expect. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside exposure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. The NX’s strong owner satisfaction and premium-brand appeal should still support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 NX is a smart choice if you want the updated look, standard safety equipment, and a strong ownership reputation in a compact luxury SUV. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 is the better pick when you want the facelifted design and a market that is currently more favourable than it was a year ago.
