How much does the 2018 Jeep Wrangler cost?

Prices have softened 13.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 376 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Jeep Wrangler a good car?

Yes — the 4.54/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its pep, handling, and iconic design, and many also like the drivability improvements and features such as remote start. For you, that means this Wrangler makes the most sense if you want a rugged SUV with open-air character and a more usable day-to-day feel. With 25.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 Jeep Wrangler reliable?

Owners rate it 4.54/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to dependable everyday use and the confidence to count on it for the long haul. At the same time, some owners mention comfort and amenities as trade-offs, so your ownership experience may depend on how well the specific example has been maintained and equipped. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the Wrangler’s appeal and more about choosing one that has been cared for properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 376 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,794 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $23,794 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,498 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Wrangler easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the right price, you may have a better chance of preserving value than someone who buys near the top of the range. Strong demand for this model’s distinctive character should help support future interest, especially among shoppers who want a Wrangler specifically.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.54/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.54/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the Wrangler’s classic off-road personality with a more modern, usable cabin and you value strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 is the better fit when you want a balance of appeal, market softness, and broad shopper interest.
