Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Jeep Wrangler?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 392 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,656 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Jeep Wrangler's resale value?

The current average of $23,656 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,240 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Wrangler has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside exposure later than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. The Wrangler’s broad appeal and steady demand help support its value, especially when you choose a well-kept example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Jeep Wrangler or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 is a strong choice if you want the updated Wrangler formula with solid owner satisfaction and a more favourable price trend than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2018 gives you a good balance of modernisation, demand, and market value.
