Used 2018 Ford Focus RS for Sale near British Columbia
4.8 Overall rating
(5 reviews)I love the RS its perfect all around vehical when it comes to performance and practicality.
On the upside: the 2018 Ford Focus RS is a sleeper - the ultimate car in the hot hatchback category. With multiple driving, suspension, and stability control modes, this car is competition ready right from the factory. Handling is razor sharp. The car sticks to the road like glue. All this from a four-door hatchback that seats five passengers and has a trunk with fold-down rear seats. This is a great car for driving enthusiasts. On the downside: this is not a great family car, daily driver, grocery getter, or long-trip cruiser. Even in Normal mode, the suspension is rather stiff. The drivers seat bottom is awkwardly angled upwards; the seating position is somewhat uncomfortable. The gas tank only holds 12 gallons, and fuel economy is in the low 20s. Bottom line: if youre an enthusiast who is seeking to carve roads in a hot hatchback, this is the car for you. If youre looking for a family car to use as a daily driver, then keep looking.
I have completely enjoyed my 2017 Ford Focus RS since the day I purchased it I am writing this review to refute a previous reviewer’s criticism: it is very much a daily driving, grocery-getter and my average MPG is typically 26+, not the low 20’s unless one is only driving in stop-and-go conditions. The driver’s seat is very comfortable, does not angle downward and the bolsters hug the body unlike any other car I’ve driven. It is not supposed to be a “family car” — no one would presume that — but the front seats are very roomy and the hatchback provides quite a bit storage. In short: the RS satisfies the thrill of driving and a great ride.
Awesome driver’s car! Great handling and performance, lots of fun on twisty roads.
Best Hot Rod I every had and I am 76 year old. Better that my BMW 540 M, Z28(1970), 1986 SVO, Corvette, 2013 Focus SE, ets. Back roods no-one could stay with me, inter state 150 MPH.
